Description

Country of origin: European Union (Germany)

The Robuso leather scissors 1076/C 7" (18.5 cm) are forged C60 scissors with long handles and short, narrow, pointed blades, both edges micro-serrated – for short, powerful cuts in leather, upholstery and car trim panels.

This model is also available with curved blades: Robuso leather scissors 1076/2/C 7" (18.5 cm) – bent blades

For powerful cuts in leather, cardboard, carpet, felt and rubber, ROBUSO builds scissors with long handles and short, strong blades: the favourable leverage brings a lot of cutting force to the tip. All models are forged from C60 carbon steel; depending on the model the blades are blue-glazed or nickel-plated outside and hollow-ground, the handles brilliant-red powder-coated. Micro-serrated edges stop smooth materials slipping.

Frequently asked questions

Which scissors for carpet?
For notching corners, edges and borders in carpet the floor layer's shears 1073/D are ideal; for longer cuts in thicker materials the leather and carpet shears 1080/D, and for flush trimming of borders the edge shears 1080/3/D with bent handles.

What is the blunt tip of the upholstery scissors for?
With the broad, blunt tip the upholsterer pushes excess material into the seam without damaging the fabric.
