HSGM Hot knife
We source our heat-cutting tools exclusively from HSGM, a company established in 1977 that manufactures directly in Germany. The heat-cutting machines developed and produced there are characterized by high quality and durability. A wide range of spare parts is also available!
Heat-cutting of synthetic fabrics, ropes, and webbing—this process technology is becoming increasingly important in production and textile processing.
The blade, electrically heated directly via a transformer, reaches approximately 600°C in just 6 to 8 seconds. Any thermoplastic material coming into contact with the cutting tip melts. Within the thread weave, individual warp and weft threads tend to fuse into one another when sufficiently close, creating a seamless, sealed edge.
