Alpen embroidery scissors 1202 are a classic tool for fine work in embroidery, sewing and needlecraft. The slim, pointed blades allow exact cuts close to the fabric, for example when trimming threads or cutting out small appliqués. They are made of nickel-plated carbon steel and are available in 3.5" and 4" (9 to 10 cm).
Alpen (Fratelli Gianola) has been making scissors since 1964 in Premana, Lombardy – a town with centuries of scissor-making tradition. Made in Italy and finished by hand. The hardened blades can be resharpened; SCHLEMMING offers a scissor sharpening service.
