The Alpen 1206 embroidery scissors have a curved blade designed for fine cuts close to the fabric: threads, jump stitches and embroidery edges can be trimmed cleanly without damaging the base material. The scissors are made of nickel-plated carbon steel with hardened blades.
Alpen (Fratelli Gianola) has been making scissors in Premana, Lombardy, since 1964 – a town with a centuries-old scissor-making tradition. Made in Italy: modern manufacturing, final finishing by hand. Like all Alpen scissors, the 1206 can be resharpened, for example through the SCHLEMMING scissor sharpening service.
