Alpen tailor's shears 1332 are sturdy dressmaking shears with a micro-serrated blade and red handles. The finely serrated edge grips the fabric while cutting and prevents smooth or slippery materials such as silk, linings or synthetics from sliding away. This produces accurate cut edges even on demanding fabrics.
The shears are made from nickel-plated carbon steel with hardened blades by Alpen in Premana – the Lombard scissor-making town where Fratelli Gianola has been producing since 1964. Modern manufacturing and hand finishing ensure precision and durability, made in Italy. The shears can be resharpened; SCHLEMMING offers a scissor sharpening service.
