Alpen tailor's shears 1350 are dressmaking shears designed specifically for left-handed users. Blades and handles are mirrored, so the cutting line stays visible when cutting with the left hand and the blades press cleanly together. This allows accurate cutting without working against the mechanics of right-handed scissors.
The shears are made of nickel-plated carbon steel with hardened blades and are produced by Alpen in Premana, where Fratelli Gianola has been making scissors since 1964 – made in Italy, with hand finishing. Robust for professional use, they can be resharpened; SCHLEMMING offers a scissor sharpening service.
