The KAI N5120 is a pair of 4.75" (12 cm) finger-ring thread snips from the N5000 Series with a replaceablestainless steel blade and spring action. One finger goes through the ring, the snips rest in the hand and open by themselves after each cut; cutting length 2 cm, weight 40 g, spare blade set N5120BL.
The KAI thread snips N5120 and N5125 belong to the N5000 Series and are each 4.75" (12 cm) long. They are used for quickly cutting threads right at the sewing or overlock machine: the snips stay in your hand and your fingers stay free to work.
The N5120 is a finger-ring snip: one finger goes through the ring, the snip rests in the hand and springs open again after each cut; the blade is replaceable (spare blade set N5120BL with two blades). The N5125 is a spring-action thread snip with a loop handle and black-and-blue soft grip.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the N5120 and N5125?
The N5120 is held with one finger through a ring and has a replaceable blade. The N5125 is a thread snip without a finger ring that you squeeze in your hand and that springs open again.
Can the N5120 blade be replaced?
Yes. The spare blade set N5120BL with two stainless steel blades (55 × 11 × 1 mm) is available for the N5120.
Who are thread snips for?
For anyone who trims many threads right at the machine – in garment production, alteration shops or embroidery. The spring opens the blades after every cut so the snips stay ready in your hand.
