The OLFA AK-1/5B is the basic AK-1 art knife in a compact blister pack with 5 KB spare blades. The contoured pen-type handle is acetone resistant and the collar keeps the blade from wobbling.
The OLFA AK series precision knives are pen-type art knives for fine, controlled cuts in paper, cardboard, film and thin plastic. A collar at the tip of the handle grips the blade firmly so it does not wobble while cutting. To change the blade, simply loosen the collar, insert a new blade and tighten it again – no tools required.
Graphic designers, model makers, workshops, sewing studios and crafters use these knives for stencils, masks, appliqués and delicate model parts. Depending on the version, spare blades, special blades or a handy blade container are included. All models from the Japanese manufacturer OLFA suit both right- and left-handed users.
