The MXP-AL is the flagship of the X-design series: a die-cast aluminium body, non-slip rubber grip and a fully hardened, chrome-plated stainless-steel blade channel that resists bending even when dropped. The wide, thin Auto-Lock slider stays out of the way of your grip; an Excel Black LBB blade comes preloaded and a lanyard hole is provided.
The utility knives of the OLFA X-design series are the professional models for the 18 mm snap-off blade. The non-slip X-design handle with rubber or elastomer grip lets you cut safely even under heavy pressure, for example through cardboard, carpet, flooring or insulation. Each model comes preloaded with an ultra-sharp Excel Black blade (LBB).
Depending on the model, a ratchet-wheel lock holds the blade in many positions or the Auto-Lock system secures it automatically. The versions differ in their body of glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene or die-cast aluminium and in extras such as a metal pick or lanyard hole. Ideal for upholstery, interior fitting, trades, warehouses and industry.
