The RTY-2C/YEL combines one-touch quick change of the 45 mm blade via a clasp with a flat body and a handle in yellow. Few loose parts, a sliding blade cover and suitability for right- and left-handed users make it particularly easy to use; RB45 and RB45H replacement blades fit.
The Japanese manufacturer OLFA invented the rotary cutter in 1979 and changed the way fabric is cut. The 45 mm rotary blade is the most popular size: it cuts fabric, including several layers at once, as cleanly as paper, film or rubber sheet, along a ruler or freehand in curves.
