The RTY-3/G is the largest model in the classic straight-handle design: its 60 mm rotary blade cuts thick fabrics and several layers at once, as well as paper, rubber sheet and film. The blade cover slides back for cutting; RB60 and RB60H replacement blades fit.
Besides the standard 45 mm size, OLFA, the inventor of the rotary cutter, offers models for particularly fine and particularly powerful cuts. The compact rotary cutters with 18 and 28 mm blades suit miniatures, small shapes, narrow strips, templates and tight curves. The 60 mm models cut thick fabrics and many layers at once.
All of these rotary cutters are designed for right- and left-handed users and keep the blade protected when not in use; the Deluxe version adds a safety lock. The small models also accept OLFA perforation blades. Ideal for quilters, patchwork, sewing studios, tailors, upholstery workshops and paper crafts.
