Prym ballet elastic is a replacement tape for the elastic straps on ballet shoes. These straps are put under heavy stress when dancing – once they are worn out or torn, they can be renewed quickly and easily with this tape. Suitable for dancers, ballet schools and anyone who maintains their own dance shoes.
The 7 mm wide tape is made of 60 % polyester and 40 % elastodiene, and its beige shade matches the usual colour of ballet shoes. It is washable at 60 °C. To replace a strap, unpick the old one, cut the new elastic to the required length and hand-sew it in the same position.
