Prym base nails protect the bottom of bags from wear: fitted to the base, they take the contact with the ground whenever the bag is put down, so the fabric bottom wears out more slowly. They suit shoppers, weekenders and any bag that is put down frequently – in the studio as well as for home sewing.
The sturdy metal nails measure 15 mm in diameter and are designed to be pushed through: they are inserted through the bag base and secured with the backing washer. Each card holds 4 pieces. The different metal finishes give self-made bags a professional finish. Tip: fit them evenly spaced, e.g. in the four corners of the base.
