Prym bias binding makers are tools for folding home-cut bias strips of any length into ready-to-use bias binding. They can be used to bind all kinds of fabric edges and are particularly suitable for quilt bindings and patchwork quilts.
The fabric strips are cut at a 45-degree angle to the grain and joined together, which makes the binding stretchy enough to follow curves. The strip is fed into the wide opening and pulled through; it emerges neatly folded at the flat end and can be pressed straight away. The size stated is the folded tape width. Material: steel and plastic.
