The Prym Cro-Tat needle is a special thread crochet hook used to work the double stitches of tatting with a crochet hook. It is ideal for crocheted quilts, blankets, potholders and many other handicrafts, as well as small craft projects.
The steel needle has a long, slightly curved shaft of uniform thickness. The hook is smaller than on conventional crochet hooks, so it passes easily through the knots sitting on the needle. The black, non-slip handle allows fatigue-free work. Prym offers cro-tat needles in three sizes; this version has a diameter of 1.50 mm.
