The Prym elastic cord is a strong, highly elastic round cord with a diameter of 2.5 mm. It is suitable as hat and mask elastic, as a drawcord in garments and as an elastic waistband in lightweight fabrics such as baby and children’s clothing, as well as for jewellery (jewellery elastic, stretch cord for bracelets) and crafts.
The elastic rubber threads are covered with particularly soft textile yarns and are kind to the skin. The material is 60 % elastodiene and 40 % polyester; according to the manufacturer, the cord is washable at up to 30 °C or 40 °C. It comes on a 50 m cassette – practical for the workroom and batch production.
