Prym single-row hook and eye tape is used to sew fastenings into lingerie, corselettes, corsets and bustiers. It is common in corsetry production, costume making and alteration tailoring as well as for home-sewn lingerie.
The galvanised, lacquered and rust-protected steel hooks and eyes are spaced 19 mm apart and set into the tape so they do not touch the skin when worn. The 30 mm wide tape is made of 85 % polyamide and 15 % polypropylene and is washable at up to 60 °C. It sews in quickly and closes securely yet opens comfortably.
