The Prym ‘Norwegian’ knitting thimble is an aid for two-colour knitting: classic and modern Norwegian patterns, Fair Isle knitting and any pattern in which two yarn colours are carried at the same time. It prevents the strands from twisting and knotting while you knit.
The thimble is made of stainless spring steel. Its burr-free, spiral-shaped ring adapts to the finger and gives a secure hold. Two opposite eyelets guide the two differently coloured strands in parallel and keep them separate, so they run neatly to the needle.
