Prym knitting-in elastic is a fine, highly elastic thread that is simply carried along with the yarn while knitting or crocheting. It gives sleeve cuffs and waistbands – as well as entire knitted and crocheted pieces – lasting support and stops them from stretching out of shape prematurely.
The thread is made of 100 % elastane and is transparent, so it stays virtually invisible in the finished fabric. It comes on a reel with a length of 200 m. Hold it together with your working yarn and work both strands as one – this helps the piece keep its shape for longer.
