The Prym lace bobbin and stitch holders help lace makers keep track of the arrangement and order of the many bobbins used in bobbin lace. Each 13 cm holder secures up to eight bobbins in the resting position and can also hold knitting stitches temporarily. The pack contains 10 pieces.
Two end caps made of plum-coloured plastic are firmly connected by a long steel coil spring. Running parallel is a grey-coated aluminium needle, 2.5 mm thick, which is anchored in only one end cap. This allows the holder to be opened and closed at the other end.
