Prym laterally stiff elastic tape is a firm elastic that keeps its shape across its width. It can be threaded into the hems of trousers or jackets or stitched directly onto trouser and skirt waistbands and waist belts, and it also works as an elastic for pyjamas and other garments.
The 30 mm wide tape is made of 78 % polyester and 22 % elastodiene. It is washable at up to 60 °C, suitable for tumble drying and, according to the manufacturer, certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Its lateral stiffness makes it a good choice for reinforcing waistbands and for sewn-in waistband facings.
