The Prym magnetic snap is a classic fastener for handmade bags, pouches, rucksacks and purses. It closes securely yet opens with very little effort, making it suitable for home sewers as well as studios and bag makers.
Both parts are made of magnetised metal with a polished surface and measure 19 mm in diameter. The snap is attached by means of small tabs: they are pushed through the material and bent outwards on the reverse with pliers. The result is an elegant closure with reliable hold.
