Prym millinery needles are extra-long, fine sewing needles for precise hand stitching on firmer fabrics and materials. They are used above all in hat and costume making, where stitches should remain as invisible as possible, and also for attaching linings, trims, ribbons, lace and decorative embellishments.
The needles are made of hardened steel with a burr-free punched eye. The finely ground point and evenly coated surface glide smoothly through the fabric, while the balanced spring stiffness provides good flexibility in use. Besides the assortment of 16 on a card (No. 5–10), millinery needles also come in envelopes of 25 in sizes No. 7 and 9.
