The Prym netting set contains all the tools needed for filet netting, a traditional handicraft for making filet lace. It is intended for needleworkers, studios and costume departments who want to make their own lace for traditional costumes, blankets or curtains.
The set consists of three rods of different widths, two netting needles and a darning needle, made of plastic and metal. First, a mesh of yarn is knotted using the rods and netting needle; the mesh is then filled with darning stitches to form the desired pattern or motif. Tip: use a yarn that is not too tightly twisted so that it does not twist up while you work.
