These oval Prym patches in imitation suede (velour imitation leather) cover worn areas on elbows and knees and protect heavily stressed parts of a garment from further wear. They also work as a fashionable appliqué on light- to medium-weight outerwear.
A dot adhesive coating holds the patches in place on fabric or leather when ironed on; they are then stitched down through the pre-punched hole edge, for example with cross stitch or tacking stitch. The material is 40 % cotton, 40 % polyester and 20 % polyurethane and is washable at up to 30 °C. Suitable for leather and lightweight fabrics.
