The Prym quilter's finger guard protects the finger held underneath the work during hand quilting or hand sewing. Whereas a thimble mainly guides the needle, this guard shields the finger on the underside – especially useful when quilting through several layers of fabric.
The guard is made of mouldable plastic and can be adapted to any finger size with a simple trick: dip it briefly into boiling water, then shape it to fit. This way it adapts individually to your own finger.
