Prym sports elastic is a hard-wearing braided elastic tape for sportswear and fitness clothing. Being resistant to sweat and moisture, it is particularly well suited to garments for fitness, endurance sports and training that are subject to heavy wear and frequent washing.
The 8.5 mm wide tape is made of 72 % polyester and 28 % elastodiene and is white with blue zigzag threads that identify its braided construction. Braided elastics are used less for sewing in than for threading into casings. The tape is washable at up to 95 °C, bears the “contaminant-tested textiles” seal and is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
