Prym steel pins are the standard tool for pinning pattern pieces, hems and seams – in tailoring and alteration workshops and studios as well as for home dressmakers. These all-purpose pins come in several thicknesses and lengths and in pack sizes ranging from small boxes to bulk packs.
The pins are made of hardened steel with good rust protection and a balanced spring stiffness. The slim, tapering point passes through all fabrics without damaging the fibres, and the specially shaped head is easy to grip and push in. If pins are to remain in the fabric for a long time, brass pins are recommended.
