Tailor's chalk is one of the most traditional marking tools in dressmaking and tailoring. Prym chalk slabs transfer markings onto almost any fabric and are just as easy to remove – an essential tool for tailors, alteration workshops and studios as well as home sewists.
The flat 50 x 50 mm slabs are made from chalk powder and are used for marking out on fabric. They come in small packs for the sewing table and in bulk packs for professional use, either in one colour or in an assortment of colours, so you can choose a chalk colour that shows up well on each fabric.
