The Prym “Fibreglass” tape measure is the classic among Prym tape measures and meets professional requirements in tailoring, alterations and the workroom as well as the needs of home sewing. It is used for taking body measurements and for measuring fabrics and pattern pieces.
The 20 mm wide, 0.5 mm thick tape is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride); metal end caps with eyelets protect both ends. The front is scaled in centimetres, the back either metric or in inches, depending on the version. Besides the standard length, there is a PROFI version with extra length that is sufficient even for large circumferences and long lengths of fabric.
