The Prym tool for coverable buttons makes it easy to cover metal buttons with your own fabric. It is designed for coverable brass buttons in five sizes from 11 to 29 mm and helps tailors, studios and home sewers to make buttons that match a garment exactly.
Made of soft plastic, the tool has a separate mould for each button size: the button top and fabric are pressed into it, so the fabric is stretched smoothly and cannot slip. The blue cover plate is then used to press the metal back firmly into place. Illustrated instructions and cutting patterns for the fabric pieces in all five sizes are printed on the back of the pack.
