This elastic trimming tape is used to neatly finish and bind necklines, armholes, sleeves and trouser waistbands. It adapts flexibly to stretch fabrics such as underwear and T-shirts and can also add fashionable colour accents.
The 15 mm wide Prym tape is made of 91% polyamide and 9% elastane and is supplied as 2 m on a card. To use it, fold the tape in the middle, place it around the fabric edge and stitch it in place. Depending on the version, it is washable at up to 30 or 60 °C and, according to the manufacturer, certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
