The Prym seam gauge is a handy measuring tool for precisely measuring and marking hems in dressmaking, quilting or knitting. It is used to mark hem widths of 1 to 6 cm and features a 90° angle marking – for all handicraft and dressmaking tasks that finish with an even hem.
The seam gauge is made of durable aluminium that can be ironed and measures 40 x 104 mm. This means the hem can be pressed while measuring and then sewn straight away. It helps with necklines, armholes, buttonholes and side seams, with marking seam allowances on patterns, and with tablecloths and curtains.
