The Robuso upholstery scissors 1260/B 6" (16 cm) are the classic forged upholstery scissors with broad, strong blades, large eyes and a broad, blunt tip for pushing excess material into the seam.
Note: Discontinued item – available while stocks last. Recommended successor: Robuso upholstery scissors 1260/B 7" (18.5 cm)
For powerful cuts in leather, cardboard, carpet, felt and rubber, ROBUSO builds scissors with long handles and short, strong blades: the favourable leverage brings a lot of cutting force to the tip. All models are forged from C60 carbon steel; depending on the model the blades are blue-glazed or nickel-plated outside and hollow-ground, the handles brilliant-red powder-coated. Micro-serrated edges stop smooth materials slipping.

Frequently asked questions
Which scissors for carpet?
For notching corners, edges and borders in carpet the floor layer's shears 1073/D are ideal; for longer cuts in thicker materials the leather and carpet shears 1080/D, and for flush trimming of borders the edge shears 1080/3/D with bent handles.
What is the blunt tip of the upholstery scissors for?
With the broad, blunt tip the upholsterer pushes excess material into the seam without damaging the fabric.
