The TEXTILIA burling iron with awl combines two fabric inspection tools: the tweezers remove burls, knots and foreign fibres from the cloth, while the awl at the end is used to loosen and straighten threads and to work loops back in. Both models are made of stainless steel.
They are available in lengths from 145 to 160 mm. The burling irons are made in Solingen, Germany, by TEXTILIA – a fifth-generation family company that has concentrated on tools for weaving mills and the textile industry since 1950.
