The TEXTILIA cloth picker with awl is a hand tool for cleaning fabrics in weaving and cloth inspection. At the front it has a smooth blade that is squeezed together like tweezers, so loose threads, knots and protruding thread ends can be cut off right at the fabric surface.
At the other end sits a fixed awl for pulling out, lifting or positioning thread ends. The cloth picker is made of stainless steel and comes in lengths of 135 to 140 mm and widths of 12 to 16 mm. Manufactured by TEXTILIA Stahlwaren-Manufaktur in Solingen, Germany, which has been making tools for the textile industry since 1950.
