The TEXTILIA reed hook with inside curve – also known as a drawing-in hook – is a hand tool for weaving: it is used to draw the warp threads through the reed and the healds. The tip is curved to the side, with the eye on the inside of the curve. The stainless steel shank is fitted in a wooden handle.
The reed hooks are available in three material thicknesses and in lengths from 120 to 300 mm; further lengths are available on request. They are made in Solingen, Germany, by TEXTILIA Stahlwaren-Manufaktur, which has specialised in tools for the textile industry since 1950 and is now run by the fifth generation of the family.
