Side curved reed hooks with the eye inside, also called drawing-in hooks, are used to draw the warp threads through the reed and the heddles. The TEXTILIA version is made of round stainless steel; the hook end is bent sideways, with the hook opening on the inside of the curve.
The reed hooks have a wooden handle and are available in material thicknesses from 0.8 to 1.2 mm and in lengths from 90 to 300 mm; further lengths on request. They are made by TEXTILIA Stahlwaren-Manufaktur in Solingen, Germany, a family business with roots going back to 1854.
