The WASA Household Scissors 6" is household scissors in a classic design, nickel-plated or with gold-plated handles. Version: gold-plated. A historically faithful reproduction: the specially hardened black screws of the original are replaced today by blued screws, whose colour can range from bluish silver through steel grey to black.
WASA household scissors are solid all-purpose scissors for kitchen, office, workshop and sewing basket. The classic models are nickel-plated, some also gold-plated or made of stainless, satin-finished steel. They reliably cut paper, fabric, film, string and card and can be resharpened.
WASA stands for Waldmin & Saam: the scissor manufacturer was founded in Solingen in 1907 by August Waldmin and Friedrich Saam and is still known today for forged quality scissors – above all embroidery and needlework scissors.

Nickel-plated or stainless?
Nickel-plated scissors are well protected and can be resharpened. Stainless, satin-finished scissors are particularly resistant to moisture – handy in kitchen and bathroom.
