The Alpen 1220 embroidery scissors are designed for anyone who wants clean, controlled cuts when embroidering, sewing and mending. The hardened blades of nickel-plated carbon steel taper to slender points, allowing precise cuts on threads, outlines and small areas of fabric – even in hard-to-reach places.
Since 1964, Alpen (Fratelli Gianola) has produced its scissors in Premana, a Lombardy town with a centuries-old scissor-making tradition. Modern manufacturing combined with hand finishing gives an even cut, and the scissors can be resharpened when needed, for example by the SCHLEMMING sharpening service.
