The Alpen 1362 thread snips are compact one-ring scissors for fast thread cutting: instead of two finger loops, they have a single finger ring, keeping the compact, straight blade close at hand. This makes trimming threads at the sewing machine and overlocker quick and easy. The straight blade distinguishes them from the 1360 series with curved blade.
Alpen makes the one-ring scissors in Premana, Lombardy, from hardened, nickel-plated carbon steel – made in Italy and finished by hand. They are intended for daily use in the textile industry and tailoring and, like all Alpen scissors, can be resharpened.
