Description

Country of origin: European Union (Germany)

The HSGM HSG-3-VW is a continuous-duty hot knife (230 V, max. 500 W, 13.0 kg) with stand-by temperature whose blade holder M on a 2 m cable heats infinitely up to 600 °C to cut and seal synthetic fabrics, ropes, tapes and webbing.

The HSGM units HSG-1-VW, HSG-03-VW and HSG-3-VW are hot knives for continuous duty (100 % duty cycle): a transformer housing powers blade holder M with on/off switch via a 2 m highly flexible cable. The working temperature is infinitely adjustable up to 600 °C. HSG-03-VW and HSG-3-VW also hold a stand-by temperature, so the working temperature is reached faster.

Frequently asked questions

Which unit is right for me?
HSG-1-VW (160 W) for small to medium quantities and lighter blades, HSG-03-VW (250 W) with stand-by temperature for faster work, HSG-3-VW (500 W) for powerful blades such as R-1, F, STA and round and shaped blades from 11 mm.

What is the stand-by temperature?
The blade is kept at a base temperature, so the set working temperature is reached much faster when you switch on at the blade holder.

Which materials can be heat-cut?
Synthetic, thermoplastic fabrics, cords, ropes, tapes and webbing. PVC and PVC-coated materials must not be processed because harmful fumes are released. Extract cutting fumes or work in well-ventilated rooms.
