Description

Country of origin: European Union (Germany)

The set HSGM HSG-0 with blade R is a ready-to-use hot knife (230 V, 60 W) for short-time operation – blade R cuts heavier fabrics, cords and ropes up to Ø 15 mm and seals the edge.

HSGM hand-held units of the HSG-0 series cut synthetic fabrics and trim cords, ropes, tapes and webbing to length – sealing the cut edge so it does not fray. The blade, heated directly via a transformer, reaches up to 600 °C in approx. 6–8 seconds. The hand units are designed for short-time operation (12 s on / 48 s off) for small quantities.

Frequently asked questions

Which materials can be heat-cut?
Synthetic, thermoplastic fabrics, cords, ropes, tapes and webbing. PVC and PVC-coated materials must not be processed because harmful fumes are released. Extract cutting fumes or work in well-ventilated rooms.

What does intermittent operation 12 s / 48 s mean?
The unit is built for short cuts: after 12 seconds of operation it should rest for 48 seconds. For series cutting use the continuous-duty units HSG-1-VW, HSG-03-VW and HSG-3-VW.

Is a cutting blade included?
Not with the HSG-0 and HSG-0-electronic – you choose the blade to suit the material. The set HSG-0 with blade R is ready to use.
