The HSGM round blade RU Ø 20 mm is a circular blade for HSGM hot knives for cutting holes or discs of 20 mm diameter from synthetic fabric while sealing the edge; compatible with HSG-3-VW.
With HSGM round and shaped blades you cut holes, discs and shapes from synthetic fabrics while sealing the edge. Round blade RU is available from Ø 3 to 60 mm; semi-circular and angle blades produce curves and corners; the cross blade X is also available. Note: The diameters and widths stated describe what the blade can cut – whether your unit has enough power for it is a separate question. The small HSG-0 hand unit (60 W), for example, has considerably less power than the continuous-duty units and may not manage thick ropes or wide webbing, even if the blade is designed for them. If in doubt, send us a short e-mail stating your unit and material; if necessary, send us a sample and we will test it beforehand.
Frequently asked questions
Which round blade fits my unit?
Round blades RU up to Ø 10 mm fit HSG-0, HSG-1-VW, HSG-03-VW and HSG-3-VW. Larger diameters and semi-circular and angle blades are intended for the HSG-3-VW according to HSGM.
Does the diameter refer to the hole or the disc?
For holes the outer Ø of the blade counts, for cutting discs the inner Ø. Please state which you need when ordering.
