The KAI N3160S is a pair of 6.3" (16 cm) embroidery scissors made of 420J2 stainless steel (52 ± 1 HRC) with an ultra-sharp, needle-like point, full-tang construction and an elastomer soft handle. It combines the length of sewing scissors with a point for embroidery and precise detail work; it has no adjustable tension screw.
The KAI N3000 Series is made for embroidery and precision work: the blade tips are extremely fine and pointed like a needle. The blades are made of 420J2 stainless steel hardened to 52 ± 1 HRC and are 2.0 to 2.5 mm thick.
Like most N5000 models, the N3000 scissors have full-tang construction – the blades extend through the handles – and elastomer soft-plastic handles. The series has no adjustable tension screw. It comprises the N3140S at 5.5" (14 cm) and the N3160S at 6.3" (16 cm). KAI was founded in Seki in 1908.
