Curved Spirale weaver's scissors, 5" (13 cm) overall with a 1.6" (4.0 cm) cutting length – extra-pointed for precise cutting right to the tip, especially for snipping threads. The curved blades make it easy to trim threads along edges and on flat surfaces. Nickel-plated finish with large steel handles; former Kretzer no. 10513.
The Kretzer Spirale weaver's scissors are short, extra-pointed scissors from the classic steel scissors series by the Solingen scissors maker Kretzer. With an overall length of 4" or 5" (10 or 13 cm) and short blades, they cut threads precisely right to the tip – ideal for snipping and tidying threads in weaving, sewing, embroidery and garment making. They come with straight or curved blades, nickel-plated or polished.
The blades are made of hot-forged, high-grade tempered carbon steel (Compact-Steel) and receive the hand-finished Classic-Cut grind. Large, robust steel handles (Stabil-Plus) sit securely in the hand and make these scissors a long-lasting tool for professionals and demanding hobbyists.
