Version with pre-mounted 18 mm styropor blade No. 379 with serrated edge, which cuts resistant materials such as styrofoam and foam with particular ease. Blade No. 379 is available as a replacement blade.
The MARTOR SECUNORM 380 is a special safety knife with a blade extension of almost 8 cm – according to the manufacturer, the first safety knife worldwide to combine such a long blade with automatic blade retraction. It is a low-risk alternative to fixed-blade cutters, ideal for thick materials such as multi-ply cardboard, bagged goods, construction foam or styrofoam.
The glass fibre reinforced plastic handle with metal rail, soft grip and ridged slider is ergonomic. A safety lock prevents the blade from leaving the handle unintentionally. The blade is changed without tools at the push of a button and can be turned 180° for left- or right-handed use.
