The CHN-1 chenille cutter uses a fixed 60 mm circular blade (CHB) to cut chenille effects in layered fabric. The ratchet dial selects one of four channel guides and moves to a fresh cutting edge when needed; use only the CHB-1 as a replacement, the RB60 is not suitable.
With the OLFA CHN-1 chenille cutter you can make your own chenille fabric. Four channel guides in different widths, from narrow to wide, match the spacing of the seams and guide the blade safely through several layers of fabric, straight or in curves. The circular blade does not rotate; it sits protected in a dial.
When one cutting position becomes dull, turn the ratchet dial until it clicks into place: each CHB-1 blade offers 24 cutting positions. Then replace it with a genuine CHB-1 spare blade. The chenille cutter suits right- and left-handed users – ideal for quilters, patchwork, sewing studios and creative sewing.
