The OLFA CMP-3 is a rotary compass cutter with an 18 mm stainless steel rotary blade that cuts circles from 4 to 22 cm in diameter in fabric, film and leather. The patented ratchet handle reduces wrist strain; two RB18 refill blades are included.
OLFA circle cutters work like a compass: a needle marks the centre while the blade cuts a clean circle through the material. You get exact circles and curves without laboriously tracing templates.
The CMP-1 and CMP-1/DX use COB-1 blades to cut thin materials such as paper, cardboard, film and vinyl – ideal for graphics, model making, photo work and scrapbooking. The CMP-3 uses an 18 mm rotary blade and is made for fabric, film and leather, perfect for quilters, patchwork and sewing studios. For best results, work on an OLFA cutting mat.
