The OLFA CMP-1/DX is the deluxe circle cutter with a patented ratchet handle: you only turn the handle while the tool stays steady. It cuts circles from 1.6 to 22 cm (4 to 22 cm with the hole prevention pad); needle and blade can be covered, COB-1 blades are included.
OLFA circle cutters work like a compass: a needle marks the centre while the blade cuts a clean circle through the material. You get exact circles and curves without laboriously tracing templates.
The CMP-1 and CMP-1/DX use COB-1 blades to cut thin materials such as paper, cardboard, film and vinyl – ideal for graphics, model making, photo work and scrapbooking. The CMP-3 uses an 18 mm rotary blade and is made for fabric, film and leather, perfect for quilters, patchwork and sewing studios. For best results, work on an OLFA cutting mat.
